Grizzlies Complete Regular Season With 4-3 Overtime Win

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies defeated the Stockton Thunder 4-3 in overtime Saturday night at the E-Center. Olivier Labelle scored the game winner-his 26th of the year-on an assist from Garett Bembridge at 4:18 of overtime.

The Grizzlies started off hot with three goals in the first 21 minutes of the game to take a 3-0 lead. Bembridge scored the first goal at the 4:18 mark of the first, while Rob Sirianni scored the next two goals-his 14th and 15th of the year-at 18:39 of the first and 0:44 of the second.

Stockton fought on by scoring two in the second period, cutting the lead to 3-2 heading into the final period. Utah played solid defense in the third, but gave up a goal with only 1:15 left in the game, forcing the game into overtime.

With the victory, the Grizzlies finished off their season with a winning record, 32-30-2-8. They'll prepare this week for their playoff series that starts next Sunday at the Save Mart Center against the Fresno Falcons.

The Grizzlies are scheduled to play at home in the postseason's first-round Wednesday, April 16; Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19*.
