Thunder Opens Kelly Cup Playoffs Friday At Las Vegas, Schedule Announced

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder has captured the #8 seed in the National Conference for the 2008 Kelly Cup Playoffs and will face the #1 seed Las Vegas Wranglers in the National Conference quarterfinal round (best-of-seven), starting with game 1 of the series this Friday, April 11 at 7:05 p.m. from Orleans Arena.
Round-by-round ticket packages for the 2008 Kelly Cup Playoffs are now on sale and individual first round playoff tickets will go on sale beginning Monday, April 7 at 10:00 a.m. at the Stockton Arena ticket office, via phone at (209) 373-1700 and online at www.stocktontickets.com.
It is the first time Stockton and Las Vegas will meet in the Kelly Cup Playoffs and this year's appearance marks the second straight Kelly Cup Playoff berth in Thunder history. Listed below is the head-to-head schedule, following a "2-3-2" format:

Kelly Cup Playoff tickets start as little as $9 per seat. Current Thunder season ticket holders will receive tickets to the first two rounds of the Kelly Cup Playoffs for free and ticket packages that have not been claimed in-person at Stockton Arena will be issued by mail beginning Monday, April 7.
