Inferno Announce Playoff Schedule

COLUMBIA, S.C. (April 6, 2008) - The Columbia Inferno announced today the schedule for their first round playoff games against the Florida Everblades. The Inferno and Everblades will meet in a best-of-five series starting Wednesday in Florida.

The following is the playoff schedule for round one:

GAME 1 - Wednesday, April 9 - Columbia at Florida , 7:30 p.m.

GAME 2 - Friday, April 11 - Columbia at Florida , 7:30 p.m.

GAME 3 - Saturday, April 12 - Florida at Columbia , 7:05 p.m.

GAME 4* - Monday, April 14 - Florida at Columbia , 7:05 p.m.

GAME 5* - Wednesday, April 16 - Columbia at Florida , 7:30 p.m.

* - If Necessary

During the regular season the Inferno finished with a record of 4-3-1 against Florida. On the road, the Inferno went 1-2-1 against the Everblades and at home finished 3-1-0. The playoff meeting will be the first ever between the clubs.

Tickets will be available for sale on Tuesday, April 2 starting at 9am at the Carolina Coliseum Box Office on Greene Street. Season ticket holders who have not reserved their seats, contact the Inferno office immediately.
