Grizzlies Celebrate Second Chance Night
April 19, 2007 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Fresno Grizzlies News Release
Fresno, CA- Hey, everyone makes mistakes right? This Saturday, April 21st at Chukchansi Park, the Grizzlies are celebrating "Second Chance Night" which will pay tribute to some memorable mistakes and allow fans the opportunity to rectify minor lapses in judgment.
Most everyone has received some sort of traffic violation, whether it was for speeding or the occasional "California Stop." At Saturday's game, any fan that brings in a traffic violation will be able to purchase 2 Field Level Reserve tickets for the price of one. Because it's Second Chance Night, they will have to sign a note pledging to never do it again. The Grizzlies are also excited to offer FREE admission to all probation officers (with valid identification) for their valiant efforts in providing second chances to those in the community who have committed more serious misgivings.
Music for the evening will be provided by artists who may have been given an unfair shake the first time around. A "Mug Shot Slideshow" will showcase some famous faces that have had the unfortunate honor of having their images captured by police. Losers of on-field contests will be temporarily placed in holding cells until they can get a second shot at winning an in-between inning promotion.
Like all Saturday games, Grizzlies fans will be able to purchase tennis balls to participate in Parker's Pitch after the game's conclusion. Usually, 6 balls are available for $5 but because it is Second Chance Night, $5 will get you 12 balls. That's double the chances to win awesome Grizzlies prizes and cash.
In addition to Second Chance Night, the first 2,500 fans through the gates on April 21st will receive a fleece blanket courtesy of Tickets.com. For more information on the Grizzlies promotional schedule, visit fresnogrizzlies.com.
The Tucson Sidewinders and Colorado Springs Sky Sox make their first visits of the year to Fresno on April 21-24 and April 26-29, respectively. Tickets for the upcoming eight game homestand are on sale now at the Chukchansi Park ticket office, over the phone at (559) 320-TIXS, or online at www.fresnogrizzlies.com.
