GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins on Tuesday announced the hiring of Amber Getty as corporate sales fulfillment coordinator and Michael King as digital media producer.

Joining the Griffins' staff full time after serving as a corporate sales intern during the first half of the 2014-15 season, Getty now assists the corporate sales department by fulfilling sponsorship agreements and managing the Griffins Kids Club. Getty graduated from Davenport University in December with a bachelor's degree in business administration and sports management.

A recent graduate of Ferris State University's television and digital media production program, King worked on several digital media projects for the Ferris State Athletic Department before graduation. He also spent the last two summers working as both an on-ice instructor and digital media production coordinator for Heartland Hockey Camp, as well as interning with Fission3 in Grand Rapids, shooting and editing projects for ArtPrize, Amway, and other local businesses. In his new role, King will oversee the production and execution of all video projects for the Griffins.
