American Hockey League Announces Suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:

- Rochester Americans right wing Dan Catenacci has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of a boarding incident in a game vs. Hamilton on Mar. 13.

Catenacci was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Catenacci will miss Rochester's games Friday (Mar. 20) at Utica, Saturday (Mar. 21) at Toronto and Sunday (Mar. 22) vs. Utica.

- Albany Devils left wing Joe Whitney has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of a match penalty for cross-checking assessed in a game vs. Syracuse on Mar. 14.

Whitney has already served one game of the suspension, and will also miss Albany's game Wednesday (Mar. 18) vs. Norfolk.

- Toronto Marlies left wing Troy Bodie been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of an elbowing incident in a game at Hamilton on Mar. 15.

Bodie was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Bodie will miss Toronto's games Friday (Mar. 20) vs. Lake Erie and Saturday (Mar. 21) vs. Rochester.
