Crunch Host Star Wars Night Friday

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - May the force be with you Friday night when the Syracuse Crunch host the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins for Star Wars Night.

Be sure to gas up your Millennium Falcon and head down to the War Memorial Arena dressed as your favorite Star Wars character for a night of Jedis, Wookiees and stormtroopers. A costume contest for decked-out fans will be held during the second intermission; register for the contest in Memorial Hall. Members of the 501st Legion costume troop will be attending the game in authentic Star Wars regalia and will be available to take photos with fans.

There will also be Star Wars themed concourse activities including trivia, a video game station, a comic book table and an action figure display. Fans can also purchase souvenir lightsabers at all Crunch merchandise stands for $10.

Fans who pre-order their tickets will be automatically entered for a chance to win a piece of autographed Star Wars memorabilia.

The Crunch are offering the following ticket specials for Star Wars Night, available by pre-order only.

Jedi Family 4-Pack ($95) includes:

- 4 tickets

- 4 hot dog/soda vouchers

- 2 souvenir lightsabers

Luke vs. Vader 2-Pack ($45) includes:

- 2 tickets

- 2 hot dog/soda vouchers

- 1 souvenir lightsaber

Single game tickets are available for the discounted price of only $15.

A portion of the proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish CNY foundation. Visit the Make-A-Wish table that will be set up on the concourse before and during the game Friday.
