Griffins Playoff Tickets on Sale Tomorrow

Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Thursday announced that tickets for the team's first two home games during the 2003 Calder Cup playoffs will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday. The exact dates are yet to be determined, but the Griffins will host the first two games of the AHL Western Conference quarterfinals at Van Andel Arena sometime during the week of April 13.

Single-game ticket prices for Griffins playoff games are $26, $21, $17, $13, $11 and $6 (advance purchase only), reflecting a league-wide increase of $1 over regular season prices. Playoff tickets may be purchased at The Zone and all Tickets PLUS outlets, including Meijer stores, and are available by calling (616) 222-4000.

Tickets for additional home playoff games will be placed on sale as warranted. However, fans wishing to witness the Griffins' entire postseason run at a discount may purchase a 15-game playoff package, starting at just $105. Depending on their desired seating location, fans can save up to four dollars per ticket off the single-game price by purchasing a playoff package.
