Grand Rapids Griffins vs. Peoria Rivermen (17-11-1-2) Sunday 4 p.m. Van Andel Arena * After playing five straight road contests, the Griffins return to Van Andel Arena tonight to face the Chicago Wolves, followed by a Sunday afternoon affair against the Peoria Rivermen.

* Tonight, children who've completed the required three hours of reading as part of the "Griff's Reading Goals" program can redeem their voucher for two free upper bowl tickets. After the game, six players will take part in the Huntington post-game autograph session with fans in the arena's Huntington Club.

* On Sunday, the first 1,000 kids 12 and younger will receive a Griffins player card strip, courtesy of Play N Trade Alpine, and all fans can enjoy $1 Pepsi products and $1 Cole's Breadsticks from 3-5 p.m. It's another Reading Goals redemption night and Library Night (show your public library card to purchase a lower bowl ticket for just $10), and fans who bring their skates can take to the ice for the post-game open skate.

* Also for Sunday, more than 2,000 free lower bowl tickets have been distributed to the unemployed through three Grand Rapids offices of Michigan Works. Thanks to the support of a generous Griffins sponsor, children 12 and younger who attend through this "Griffins Give Back" program will also receive a free Lil' Kinz stuffed plush toy as a holiday gift (while supplies last), when parents present their Michigan Works ticket inside the arena's banquet room from 3-4 p.m.
