Scott Carcaise rapped out three doubles and a home run to lead an 18-hit attack as the Frontier Greys (11-14) claimed the final game of the series against the Rockford Aviators (17-9) by the score of 15-9 in Frontier League baseball action Sunday at Aviators Stadium in Loves Park, IL.

The Greys built up leads of 9-0 and 13-3 before the Aviators rallied to pull within 13-9 following Michael Hur's three run homer in the bottom of the 8th. But Carcaise's RBI double in the top of the ninth squelched any comeback thoughts for Rockford as the Greys defeated the Aviators for the second straight day.

Bobby Shore (2-3) pitched the first five innings to record the victory for the Greys while Kyle Allen (0-1) took the loss for Rockford.

The Aviators head to Joliet for a three game series with the Slammers (June 16-18) before returning home to host the Schaumburg Boomers at Aviators Stadium next weekend (June 19-21). Call the Aviators Ofice at 815-885-2255 for tickets or information, or go to rockfordaviators.com.
