
Greys Beat Aviators 6-2 in Rain Shortened Game

Jhiromar Veras hit a three run homer in the second while Frontier Greys starter Jordan Krause pitched a five inning complete game as the Greys (10-14) defeated the Rockford Aviators (17-8) 6-2 Saturday night in Frontier League baseball action at Aviators Stadium in Loves Park, Il. The was called due to rain with two runs in for the Greys and two outs in the top of the sixth inning.
Krause (3-2) picked up the short complete game victory by yielding just two runs to the Aviators in the fourth inning. Roberto Padilla (1-1) suffered the loss in his first start for Rockford.
