
Greensboro Wins Fourth Straight at Home; Defeats Maine

(GREENSBORO, N.C.) - The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, earned its 10th victory of the season in a, 109-95, triumph over the Maine Red Claws on Thursday at the Fieldhouse at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. Devonte Graham, on assignment from the Charlotte Hornets, had a game-high 30 points to pace the Swarm (10-9).
Greensboro was in control for nearly the entirety of the game, trailing for just one minute (6:55-5:55 in the first quarter). The Swarm's lead ballooned as much as 17 points (second quarter) behind Graham's 30 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals in 34 minutes. Dwayne Bacon, also on assignment from the Hornets, added 19 points, nine rebounds and a steal in 30 minutes of action.
The Red Claws (5-14) had six players score in double figures, led by PJ Dozier's 22 points on 9-of-20 shooting. Dozier also had six rebounds and five assists in the game. Sheldon Jeter had 14 points off the bench while John Bohannon added 13 points as a reserve. Andrew White (13 points), Vitto Brown (11) and Justin Bibbs (11) were the remaining double-digit scorers for Maine.
The Swarm shot 45 percent as a team, including 13-of-37 on three-pointers. Joe Chealey had 17 points, five rebounds and five assists in 28 minutes off the bench. Chinanu Onuaku recorded 15 points, eight rebounds and two blocks in 29 minutes.
Greensboro outscored Maine, 20-0, on fast break points. The Swarm forced 18 Red Claw turnovers.
