Greensboro, N.C. - Greensboro scored single runs in the third and fourth innings while their pitching staff held the Drive to just four hits and zero walks to propel them to a 2-1 victory in game four Friday night at First National Bank Field.

The game last just two hours and 23 minutes.

Chase Shugart took the tough luck loss after allowing both runs over his 5.2 innings of work. He relented seven hits and two walks and fanned two as well. Relievers Jake Wallace and Oddanier Mosqueda didn't allow a hit over the final 2.2 innings.

Tyreque Reed compiled the only multi-hit effort of the night as he slapped two singles. Cam Cannon registered the lone RBI of the night on his fifth run of the year. Wil Dalton had the remaining hit, a double.

Steven Jennings earned the win throwing 4.0 innings of one run ball in relief of Braxton Ashcraft.

Greensboro took an early 1-0 lead in the third inning on a Matthew Frazier RBI single to center field.

The lead didn't last long as Greenville's Cam Cannon hit a leadoff home run to tie, 1-1, in the top half of the fourth.

However, the Grasshoppers took the lead for good in the bottom half of the frame. With runners on the corners, Jared Triolo was caught stealing second, which allowed Fabricio Macias to score the winning run.

Game five is set for 6:30 pm Saturday at First National Bank Field. The Drive are scheduled to throw Jay Groome while the Grasshoppers are slated to throw Carmen Mlodzinski.
