PREVIOUS GAME RECAP: The GreenJackets (50-20, 26-22) dropped their third straight to the Lakewood BlueClaws (33-32, 25-21) on Friday night with a 6-5 loss in 12 innings. Juan Trinidad recorded the loss in relief and Augusta fell to 4-7 in extra innings this season. The BlueClaws broke a 5-5 tie in the top of the 12th inning when Quinten Berry scored from third on an RBI sac-fly to left field from Adrien Cardenas for a 6-5 lead. Berry reached on a fielding error from Trinidad to begin the frame. Augusta went down in order in the bottom of the 12th inning as Zach Sterner picked up his second save of the season. Trinidad (2-2) worked three innings and did not allow a hit while allowing one unearned run.
