Augusta GreenJackets News Release

Charleston, SC - Due to persistent rain and unplayable field conditions at Joseph P. Riley Park in Charleston, Friday's game between the Charleston RiverDogs and the Augusta GreenJackets was postponed and will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday.

Rain throughout the afternoon drenched the field and despite the best efforts of officials at the ballpark, the game was postponed out of concern for the safety of the players.

Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 5:05 p.m. with Aaron King (6-5, 3.84) taking the ball in the opener to face Trent Lare (2-3, 2.58) while Orlando Yntema (0-2, 7.16) faces Cory Arbiso (4-7, 4.56) in the nightcap. First pitch of game one from Joseph P. Riley Park is at 5:05 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on WRDW-AM 1630 and online at www.greenjacketsbaseball.com.

On Monday, the GreenJackets return home for a three-game series against the Sand Gnats. First pitch comes at 7:05 p.m. on Monday and the game will be broadcast on WRDW AM 1630 and online at www.greenjacketsbaseball.com.
