Hagerstown Suns News Release
HAGERSTOWN, MD -- The Hagerstown Suns' game against the Delmarva Shorebirds scheduled for Friday night at 7:05 p.m. has been postponed due to heavy rains at Municipal Stadium, and will be rescheduled as part of a 1:05 p.m. doubleheader on Sunday.
The Suns and Shorebirds will resume play Saturday night at 7:05 p.m., with a Vernon Wells Hall of Fame Statuette giveaway presented to the first 1,000 fans in attendance. Gates will open at Municipal Stadium at 6:05 p.m., and the Suns advise fans hoping to secure one of the statuettes to arrive well in advance, as they are not expected to last long.
