GreenJackets Host Mystery Ball Giveaway on Friday, September 4th

AUGUSTA, GA: The Augusta GreenJackets, Single "A" affiliate of the 2014 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants, in conjunction with the Children's Hospital of Georgia are excited to announce the First Annual Mystery Ball Night as a part of the festivities on Friday, September 4th. The GreenJackets will host the Charleston RiverDogs (New York Yankees) at 7:05pm in the last home stand of the season.
"As we wrap up the 2015 season we are excited to partner with the Children's Hospital of Georgia on this fun new promotion allowing fans take home a great keepsake," stated GreenJackets General Manager Tom Denlinger. "What autographed ball fans will take home is a mystery but it all supports a great organization and we invite you to come and Catch the Buzz with us."
Over 100 baseballs have been donated as a part of the Mystery Ball promotion. The baseballs consist of current and former players throughout Major and Minor League Baseball. All the Mystery baseballs will be available to purchase during the game for only $10 with the proceeds benefitting the Children's Hospital of Georgia. Guests are encouraged to get here early and support this great cause, what ball you get is a mystery as you pull it out of a bin. "In fact, we recently found out that our children's hospital was ranked as the highest in the nation in quality and safety for all of 2014, and that is something our supporters, our patients, families and staff can all take great pride in. We are a great investment for more reasons than one."
