GREAT FALLS, Mont. (July 11, 2015) - The Great Falls Voyagers surrendered season highs in both runs and hits as the Ogden Raptors evened the series with a 12-5 win Saturday night at Centene Stadium.

With Great Falls (12-8) having a three-run lead on three unearned runs scored in the second inning, Ogden (12-12) took the lead in the fourth. With two outs, Nick Sell hit a three-run homer off Brandon Magallones (1-1) to tie the game, and Scott De Jong then followed with a solo shot to give the visitors the lead.

The Raptors then erupted for five more in the sixth. Ogden sent 10 to the plate in the frame, knocking out seven hits, the most that Great Falls has given up in any one inning so far this season. The frame included four straight two-out singles, which plated the final three runs of the inning and pushed the lead to 9-3.

In the ninth, De Jong continued his big night, tripling in a run to complete the cycle, after doubling in the second and singling in the sixth. Ogden added two more later in the inning, after drawing back-to-back walks with the bases loaded.

Other than their three unearned runs in the second, the Voyager bats were held quiet for most of the night. In the bottom of the ninth, Antonio Rodriguez led off with a triple, later scoring on a two-run single by Sikes Orvis, who collected his eighth and ninth RBIs of the year.

Great Falls pitching gave up 12 runs and 14 hits in the loss, both new season-highs.

The Voyagers and Raptors continue their four-game set Sunday with a matinee affair at Centene Stadium. Right-hander Evin Einhardt (1-1, 3.92) will get the starting nod for Great Falls, while Ogden will counter with southpaw Michael Boyle (0-0, 0.00). First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., and coverage will begin at 12:45 on 1400 AM KXGF and gfvoyagers.com.
