
Grasshoppers Drop 7-6, to the Drive in Game Four of Away Series

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The Greensboro Grasshoppers dropped to the Greenville Drive, 7-6 in game four of its away series on Friday, June 16. The Drive improved to 34-27 while the Grasshoppers fell to 33-26. Greenville outhit Greensboro 13-12 while both teams had one mishap.
Leading at the plate for the Grasshoppers was Jase Bowen as he went 4-5 with a home run, four RBI, and one run scored. Mike Jarvis and Tres Gonzalez followed close behind as they both went 2-4. Jarvis recorded a double, one RBI, and two runs scored.
Starting on the mound for Greensboro was righthanded pitcher Po-Yu Chen who tallied eight strikeouts and gave up seven hits, three earned runs, and one free base on six innings of work. Dante Mendoza took the loss and a blown save (2) for the Grasshoppers and fell to 3-2 on the season.
Graham Hoffman recorded the win for the Drive and improved to 2-1 on the season.
