
Grand Prairie routs St. Paul 1-0 in rubber match

Grand Prairie, TX. The AirHogs topped the St. Paul Saints in a 5-hits-apiece pitching duel for a quick 1-0 win Monday night at QuikTrip Park.
With his first Grand Prairie win, âHogs newly acquired starter Logan Williamson went six full innings, and gave up only four hits and two walks. After bullpen appearances by Greg Krause and Vinnie Dechristofaro, James Morrison finished off the shutout game with his 18th save of the season.
Saints starter Reed Dickert gave up only one run on four hits in seven full innings of work in the loss.
The only run of the game was scored in the bottom half of the fourth inning after Cesar Nicolas doubled to left center. Javier Brito followed suit with a base-hit single to leftfield to score Nicolas from 2nd. No player in either line-up put managed a multi-hit game.
