1B Javier Brito singled home 3B Cesar Nicolas from second base in the fourth inning to plate the game's only run as the Grand Prairie AirHogs edged the St. Paul Saints, 1-0. Both starting pitchers, St. Paul's Reed Dickert and Grand Prairie's Logan Williamson, threw very well. Williamson collected his ninth win of the season as he tossed six innings allowing two walks and four hits. Dickert was the tough luck loser as he gave up an earned run on four hits in seven innings of work. Grand Prairie closer James Morrison fanned two batters in 1 2/3 innings to collect his 18th save of the season.

Sioux Falls starting pitcher Jino Gonzalez picked up his fourth win of the season as the Canaries took care of the Sioux City Explorers. Gonzalez went 6 2/3 innings allowing four hits and six walks while striking out a batter. Sioux Falls closer Aaron Cotter gave up a hit in a 1/3 of an inning to notch his eighth save of the season. Canaries 3B Trevor Lawhorn went 2-for-3 with a RBI while CF Beau Torbert had a 1-for-3 night and scored two runs. LF Boomer Berry was 1-for-4 and scored the only run for Sioux City.

Pensacola 13, Fort Worth 0

It was all Pensacola in this one as the Pelicans routed the Fort Worth Cats on the road. Pensacola scored early and often as they plated all 13 of their runs in the first three innings. Pelicans RF Kevin Reynolds went 3-for-6 at the plate with a double and three runs scored. 3B Marshall McDougall had a two-hit night with a pair of runs scored while 2B Antoin Gray drove in four runs in a 1-for-4 outing. Pensacola starter Aaron Jackson was outstanding as he threw a complete game shutout allowing only a walk and four hits while striking out five batters. With the victory, Jackson evens his mark at 3-3 on the season.

Shreveport-Bossier 9, El Paso 4

The Shreveport-Bossier Captains scored five runs in the third inning to overcome an early 3-2 deficit and beat El Paso, 9-4. 1B Chris Garcia was the star offensively for the Captains as he went 3-for-4 at the plate with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI. Shreveport-Bossier LF Jose Torres chipped with a two-hit night and drove in three runs. Captains starting pitcher Drew Coffey evened his record at 1-1 with the win. Coffey gave up four earned runs on eight hits with 11 strikeouts in five innings pitched. C Eddy Rodriguez was 2-for-4 with a run scored and a RBI for the Diablos in defeat.

SS Josh Horn's walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning lifts the Wichita Wingnuts past the Lincoln Saltdogs. With the win, Wichita cuts Lincoln's lead in the North Division to 2.5 games. Wingnuts C Joe Muich went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and a RBI. 2B Brenan Herrera also had a 2-for-4 night with a run scored and three RBI. Wichita reliever Diego Soto collected his first win of the season as he gave up two walks in three innings of work. RF Rafael Alvarez was 1-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI for the Saltdogs.
