
Goldeyes Trade Liles to Gary

WINNIPEG - Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today that infielder Nick Liles has been traded to the Gary SouthShore RailCats to complete a trade between the two clubs from last season.
Liles, 25, appeared in 45 games with the Goldeyes this season. He hit .280 with 13 RBI and seven stolen bases.
The Goldeyes now have 20 players on their active roster, including 10 pitchers and 10 position players.
Winnipeg begins at three-game series on the road against the Trois-Rivieres Aigles tonight at 6 p.m. central time.
