Winnipeg's roster has another vacancy.
One day after selling pitcher Daniel Haigwood's contract to Oakland, Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today that catcher Jeff DeSmidt has been placed on the Disabled List. The move means the Goldeyes now have 20 players on their roster, nine of whom are pitchers
Winnipeg is back in action tonight against Joliet for game two of a four-game series.
