Goff Signed to ATO, Brittain Reassigned to Eagles

WINDSOR, CO. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced today that the team has signed defenseman Neal Goff to an Amateur Tryout Agreement. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound blueliner recently concluded a four-year career at Western Michigan University where he posted 22 points and 132 penalty minutes in 133 games with the Broncos. The 22 year-old played alongside current Eagles goaltender Lukas Hafner during Goff's first two seasons with Western Michigan.

Prior to making the jump to the NCAA level, the Stillwater, Minnesota native played three seasons at the junior level with the Fargo Force, captaining the team during the 2013-14 campaign. In total, Goff generated 24 points and 214 PIM's in 147 USHL contests.

In a separate transaction, goaltender Sam Brittain has been reassigned to the Eagles by the team's AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage. Both players are expected to be in the line-up when Colorado travels to the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah take on the Utah Grizzlies on Wednesday, March 21st at 7:05pm MT.
