
Goaltender John Curry Recalled to Iowa

Des Moines, IA - Iowa Wild General Manager Jim Mill on Tuesday announced the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled goaltender John Curry from the Orlando Solar Bears, Iowa's ECHL Affiliate.
Curry returns to Iowa, where he spent the majority of training camp. The 29-year old pro has won four straight games for Orlando, going 6-1-0 over seven appearances this season. The Shorewood, MN native posted a 2.52 GAA and a .905 SV% with the Solar Bears. Over the course of his career, the seventh-year pro has made 185 appearances in the AHL for Wilkes-Barre Scranton and Houston. Curry is 109-60-7 with a 2.48 GAA and a .908 SV% in his AHL career. He has also made an appearance in four NHL games (all Pittsburgh), going 2-2-0 with a 3.79 GAA and a .867 DV %.
The Wild continues a six-game homestand with Grand Rapids on Friday, Nov. 22 at 7:05 p.m. Fans may donate a non-perishable food item to receive a free ticket to an upcoming game, presented by Zerorez. Also, as part of the Great American Smokeout, fans that quit smoking and turn in a tobacco product at the Central Iowa Tobacco Free Partnership table will receive a free ticket to an upcoming game. The Wild concludes its homestand with Abbotsford on Nov. 23 at 7:05 p.m. and Nov. 24 at 5:05 p.m. Saturday night is Veterans Appreciation Night and there is a Helmets to Hardhats Auction. Fans may participate in a live postgame auction of game-worn player helmets, benefitting Helmets to Hardhats. Sunday night, fans may purchase the Subway Family Four Pack for the game, which features four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and Subway coupons starting at $44.
Fans may purchase single game tickets multiple ways, either through the team's website - www.Iowawild.com, Wells Fargo Arena box office or Dahl's Ticketing. Tickets are available online at www.iowawild.com under the single game tickets tab. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-866-55-DAHLS (32457) or by visiting one of 13 Dahl's Food Stores locations in the greater Des Moines area, and in Ames.
