Syracuse, NY - Crunch defenseman Jordan Henry has been released from his professional tryout contract, Crunch General Manager Julien BriseBois announced today.

Henry, 27, was scoreless in two games with the Crunch since signing a PTO on Nov. 15. The defenseman has played in 12 games with the ECHL's Florida Everblades this season; recording nine points (1g, 8a). The Milo, Alberta native is a veteran of 284 AHL games, in which he's recorded 68 career points (22g, 46a) with Rochester, Abbotsford, Chicago, Oklahoma City and Syracuse. Henry earned 15 points (3g, 12a) in 34 career ECHL games with Florida and Stockton. Before turning pro the 6-foot-2, 198-pound blueliner played in 270 WHL contests with the Red Deer Rebels and Moose Jaw Warriors.

The Crunch travel to Montreal to face the Hamilton Bulldogs on Nov. 22 at the Bell Centre before hosting the Bulldogs at the War Memorial on Saturday, Nov. 23.
