Goaltender Holt Called Up To Hartford

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The New York Rangers of the National Hockey League have recalled goaltender, Chris Holt and reassigned him to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.

Holt, 6-foot-3, 220 pounds, has played in 17 games for Charlotte this season with a record of 8-7-1 with two shutouts. He has garnered a 2.59 goals against average with a save percentage of .919 during that time. Earlier this season, he dressed in eight games for the Wolf Pack with record of 5-3 holding a 2.48 goals against average and a save percentage of .903.

The Checkers began their 15th season of play as a member of the ECHL. The next home game takes place on Feb. 21 against the South Carolina Stingrays. In the team's 14-year history, the Checkers have made the playoffs 10 times including three consecutive playoff appearances to date.
