Goaltender Holt Called Up To Hartford

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The New York Rangers of the National Hockey League have recalled goaltender, Chris Holt and reassigned him to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.

Holt, 6-foot-3, 220 pounds, has played in 17 games for Charlotte this season with a record of 8-7-1 with two shutouts. He has garnered a 2.59 goals against average with a save percentage of .919 during that time. Earlier this season, he dressed in eight games for the Wolf Pack with record of 5-3 holding a 2.48 goals against average and a save percentage of .903.

The Checkers began their 15th season of play as a member of the ECHL. The next home game takes place on Feb. 21 against the South Carolina Stingrays. In the team's 14-year history, the Checkers have made the playoffs 10 times including three consecutive playoff appearances to date. The Checkers are in their third season of play at St. Lawrence Homes Home Ice at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Season tickets are on sale now with full-season packages starting at just $175.
