Goalie Jake Paterson Assigned to Allen by Milwaukee

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, and Head Coach Steve Martinson announced today that goaltender Jake Paterson, has been assigned to Allen by the Milwaukee Admirals.

Jake Paterson played in 13 games total this season between Norfolk (ECHL), Quad City (ECHL) and Milwaukee (AHL). In four games with the Admirals, this season he had a record of 1-1.

The native of Mississauga, Ontario was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in Round 3, 80th overall, in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

The 6-1, 190 pound netminder will turn 24 years old on May 3rd. He played his junior hockey with the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League from 2011 to 2015 and a half a season with the Kitchener Rangers (OHL), IN 2015.
