WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Capital City Go-Go (17-8), the NBA G League affiliate of the Washington Wizards, won their fourth-straight game in the Nation's Capital, 131-100, over the Wisconsin Herd on Sunday afternoon.
Capital City earned the wire-to-wire victory, as they led by double-figures for the final 40 minutes of the game after jumping out to a 15-4 lead. The Go-Go set team records in field goal attempts (113) and rebounds (62) in the effort, while also tying the season high of 82 points in the paint. Capital City also dished 33 assists for the second-straight game.
Seven different players scored in double-figures for the Go-Go, led by the big-man duo of Jaime Echenique and Greg Monroe, who each scored 20 points and went a combined 18-28 (.643) from the field. Isaiah Todd secured his second double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Wisconsin had a pair of 20-point scorers in Rayjon Tucker (22) and Jalen Lecque (20). Sandro Mamukelashvili secured a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
The win kicked off a four-game homestand for the Go-Go, who will play host to the Delaware Blue Coats on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Wisconsin will head home to take on Raptors 905 on Wednesday.
