Gnats and Jackets Postponed Wednesday

Savannah Sand Gnats News Release
Augusta, Ga. - Wednesday's doubleheader between the Savannah Sand Gnats and the Augusta GreenJackets has been postponed due to the night's rainy weather.
The game will be made up when the GreenJackets visit Savannah during the week of June 12, with specific game times and dates to be announced.
The Sand Gnats will head home to start a four game set against the Rome Braves on Thursday and then a three game series versus the Asheville Tourists beginning on Monday.
Savannah will send RHP Ricky Knapp (2-2, 3.12 ERA) to the mound Thursday opposite LHP Yean Gil (3-2, 1.73 ERA). Fans can enjoy another Thirsty Thursday with half-priced draft beer brought to you by Budweiser, Coors Light, Miller Lite, Connect Savannah, E93, and I-95 FM. First pitch at Historic Grayson Stadium is set for 7:05 p.m. The radio pregame show on News/Talk 630 and online at Sandgnats.com begins at 6:45 pm.
