Giants Trade Roach to Edmonton

Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants announced on Wednesday that the hockey club has traded 1997-born forward Jesse Roach to the Edmonton Oil Kings in exchange for a third round pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.

"We would like to thank Jesse for his time with our club," said Giants Executive Vice President and General Manager Scott Bonner. "We wish him all the best with Edmonton going forward."

Roach, a Quesnel native, was taken in the second round of the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft by the Giants at 42nd overall. The 18-year-old played in 66 games for Vancouver over parts of three seasons, tallying seven goals and four assists.
