Record for week: 2-1-0, 4 points
Record for season: 33-34-9, 75 points - 3rd in Eastern Conference
Player Notes: Jeff Zehr finished the season by leading the team in points with 64, goals with 30 and power play goals with 15...Zehr also ended the season on a five game point scoring streak...Gerard Miller finished the season on a five game point scoring streak and led Generals defensemen with 57 points...Jason Muzzatti ended the season with three straight wins...Zehr and Shawn Snider finished 19th and 20th in the league in scoring...Jordan Fox finished tied for 13th in the league in rookie scoring...Miller finished 4th in the league in defensemen scoring with Shaun Fisher 14th and Tyson Turgeon tied for 16th.
Team Notes: The Generals finished second in the league in power play percentage at 19.1% and eighth in penalty kill at 82.0%...The Generals finished the season leading the league in power play goals with 102, power play goals against with 94, shorthanded goals against with 22 and minor penalties with 622...The Generals finished sixth in goals for per game with 3.29 and ninth in goals against per game with 3.76.

April 2 - April 8
Wednesday, April 4 Kalamazoo 5 @ Flint 2
The Generals hosted Kalamazoo in a preview of a first round playoff series. Bogdan Rudenko gave the Generals a 1-0 lead 17 seconds into the second period on a goal assisted by Shawn Snider and Jeff Zehr. Kalamazoo scored twice in the second period to take a 2-1 lead. Rudenko scored his second goal of the game at 1:43 of the third period from Gerard Miller and Jeff Zehr to tie the game 2-2. The Wings scored the next three goals to win 5-2. Jason Muzzatti played the first period and made nine saves on nine shots. Bryan Worosz played the second and third periods and made 20 saves on 25 shots and took the loss.
Friday, April 6 Quad City 4 @ Flint 5 SO
The Generals hosted Quad City in the final home game of the regular season. Mike Kinnie gave Flint a 1-0 lead at 9:07 of the first period with a power play goal. Quad City tied the game 1-1 at 16:08 of the second period. Sean Kotary put the Generals back in front at 18:19. The Generals increased the lead to 3-1 on Kinnie's second goal of the game 42 seconds into the third period. A Quad City goal at 3:38 got the Mallards back to within one goal at 3-2. Rick Smith gave the Generals a two lead at 4-2 at 6:06 with a goal from Shawn Snider and Ryan Jorde. The Mallards scored two more times to tie the game 4-4 and force a shootout. The Generals outscored the Mallards 3-2 in seven rounds of the shootout for the win. Jason Muzzatti made 23 saves on 27 shots for the Generals.
Saturday, April 7 Flint 4 @ Bloomington 2
The Generals played the final game of the regular season in Bloomington. Bloomington scored the only goal of the first period at 9:02 to take a 1-0 lead. Jordan Fox scored a shorthanded goal at 7:10 of the second period to tie the game 1-1. Mike Kinnie gave the Generals a 2-1 lead with a goal at 18:42. Flint went up 3-2 at 2:00 of the third period on Jeff Zehr goal from Tyson Turgeon. The Prairie Thunder scored a power play goal at 6:16 to get back to within one goal at 3-2. Zehr scored his second goal of the game at 19:59 into an empty net to close the scoring at 4-2. Bryan Worosz made 27 saves on 29 shots for the win.

The Generals will play Kalamazoo in the best of seven first round series of the Colonial Cup Playoffs. The Generals finished the regular season against Kalamazoo with a record of 3-6-0. Flint was 1-4-0 at home and 2-2-0 in Kalamazoo. The first four games of the series are as follows:
Game 1: Wednesday, April 11 Flint @ Kalamazoo 7:00p.m.
Game 2: Thursday, April 12 Flint @ Kalamazoo 7:00p.m.
Game 3: Friday, April 13 Kalamazoo @ Flint 7:30p.m.
Game 4: Sunday, April 15 Kalamazoo @ Flint 4:00p.m.
Generals Player of the Week:
The Generals Player of the Week is Jeff Zehr. Zehr had four points in three games on two goals and two assists. He had an assist on Wednesday and Friday and two goals on Saturday. He also played at a +4 for the week.
Generals Goaltender of the Week:
The Generals Goaltender of the Week is Jason Muzzatti. Muzzatti was 1-0-0 in two games played last week. He made 32 saves on 36 shots for a .889 save percentage. He also had a goals against average of 3.00.
