Dayton Gems News Release
DAYTON, OH- In conjunction with ITT, the Dayton Gems will be sponsoring four military personnel to become "Gems for a Day" on Saturday, March 26.
The four personnel will sign honorary contracts for the day and follow the Gems team as players go through their game day routines. Highlights of the day include: watching morning practice, having a one-on-one strategy session with head coach Brian Gratz and talking with the media before, during, and after the game.
Taking part in the event will be Tommy Aretz, Travis Snider, Eric Paulikonis and Tana Frangioni. A fifth person, Steven Jackson, is unable to attend due to participation in a USAF training assignment that is out of the area.
This is an event the Gems are not only happy to be hosting, but are also greatly honored to be doing for active members of the military.

"I am really looking forward to the opportunity to see the "behind the Scenes" of the Gems," Frangioni wrote in an e-mail.
