OTTAWA - RHP Geoff Geary was recalled by the Philadelphia Phillies, while RHP Ryan Cameron has been transferred back to the Lynx lineup from Double-A Reading.
Geary, 30, was 1-1 with a 2.08 ERA in 10 games with the Lynx. He struck out 18 batters in 17.2 innings. Geary has accumulated a 1-2 record with a 5.31 ERA in 37 games with the Phillies this season. Last year, he reached career highs in wins (7), innings (91.1), games (81) and strikeouts (60). Geary finished tied for second among National League relievers in innings, third in winning percentage, tied for fourth in wins and tied for sixth in games played. This is his 10th professional season.
Cameron, 29, has no record and a 8.00 ERA in six appearances with the Lynx this season. He is 0-1 with one save and a 5.53 ERA in 29 games with the R-Phils this season. Last year, Cameron spent the entire season with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre where he went 6-2 with a 3.19 ERA and seven saves. This is Cameron's 11th professional season.
