
Gardner to be Featured on Puska on Pucks

SOUTHAVEN, MS --- Mississippi RiverKings new head coach Paul Gardner will be one of the featured guests on the latest edition of "Puska on Pucks," an Internet radio prorgram on minor league hockey produced and hosted by Denis J. Puska, Media Relations Director for the Amarillo Bulls of the North American Hockey League and a former minor league broadcaster in a number of leagues, including the Central Hockey League.

Two hot topics are featured on Episode 23 of Puska on Pucks, The Original Internet Hockey Show. Join host Denis J. Puska as he visits with new Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach Paul Gardner about taking over the program. Gardner was recently hired as the team ¬â¢s new bench boss and hopes to get the RiverKings back into position as a a championship contender.
The Central Hockey League and the International Hockey League announced a working agreement between the two sides during the summer. Puska will also be joined by CHL Director of Operations Bob Hoffman who will update how the season has gone to date, and on how teams have dealt with the changes.
Fans can also catch a new installment of Ice Chips News and Notes from around the world of professional hockey that looks at new ownership for Springfield of the American Hockey League, the 2011 class for the ECHL Hall of Fame, and one of the coaches is announced for the CHL All-Star Game.
There will also be a special announcement regarding the future of the pod-cast.

Next home action for the RiverKings will be on Sunday, January 2nd, when your hometown pro hockey team meet the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs in a 3:05 PM start at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven. The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance of Memphis is the non-profit MVP for the game and there will be a post-game skate on the ice afterwards.
