
Gann leaves Biscuits

Montgomery Biscuits News Release
The Montgomery Biscuits announced today that outfielder Jamie Gann has been placed on the voluntarily retired list. Outfielder Luis Mateo has been activated from the disabled list to take Gann's place on the roster.
Gann, a nine-year minor league veteran, was hitting .095 (2-21) in five games with the Biscuits after joining the team June 14.
Mateo, who had been placed on the DL June 14 with a bruised finger, is hitting .185 (22-119) with 1 home run and 6 RBI in 40 games with the Biscuits.
