Three Keys To The Game Presented By Nebraska Department Of Transportation
Key 1: String Together Points
- With last night's win the Stars moved back into possession of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Now, Lincoln looks to record points in back-to-back games for the first time since the beginning of the month when they earned five-of-six points in three straight games against Tri-City. With Des Moines hosting Omaha tonight the Stars will likely need a victory to remain in possession of the final playoff spot.
Key 2: Score On The Man Advantage Against Tri-City
- The Storm have stymied the Stars power play in the first eight games of the season series, only allowing three power-play goals in 32 instances. Lincoln scored on its first power-play goal of last night's game and is 4-for-16 at 25-percent over the last six games.
Key 3: Defensive Production
- The blueliners played a big role in last night's win with Martin Masa scoring and Kai Janviriya recording three assists. Adam Kleber, Griffin Brown and Jacob Rombach all recorded an assist apiece as well. Lincoln is 12-3-1-0 when a defenseman lights the lamp.
