Adirondack Thunder News Release

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: Tonight's matchup is the fourth and final meeting this season between Adirondack and Orlando and concludes a set of three games in four nights at the Amway Center. Adirondack has been victorious in two of three previous contests between the two teams this season but the Solar Bears scored their first win with a 6-3 victory last night in front of over 11,000 fans, an Orlando franchise record.

SILENCE OF THE LOMBS: Forward Ryan Lomberg leads all Thunder scorers against the Solar Bears this season with six goals in three games, powered by his four-goal effort on Thursday evening. Lomberg scored the game's first four goals for a natural hat trick, the first of his professional career. Lomberg's six points lead all scorers in the head-to-head matchup this season.

SILENGO GET EM: Thunder forward Jeff Silengo collected two assists in last night's defeat, with both helpers being primary assists. Silengo's multi-point game was his sixth of the season and his second to feature two assists, tying his career high from January 22 against Manchester. On the season, Silengo has set career highs in goals (12), assists (13) and points (25), with his 12 goals ranking fourth on the Thunder roster.

ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL-IN: Forward Terrence Wallin collected a goal and an assist in last evening's defeat, giving him points in back-to-back games on the Orlando road trip, joining Peter MacArthur and Mathieu Brodeur as Thunder skaters with points in both games. Wallin's multi-point game was the second of his professional career and gives him eight points (3-5-8) in 16 games with the Thunder this season.

MAC ATTACK: Forward Peter MacArthur collected the primary assist on James Henry's shorthanded goal, giving him five helpers in two games in Orlando. MacArthur previously assisted on all four of Lomberg's goals on Thursday, setting the Thunder franchise mark for assists in the process. The Clifton Park native tied his ECHL career high for assists in a game, set in 2011, when he played with the Las Vegas Wranglers.

DON'T TASE ME BROD: Defenseman Mathieu Brodeur scored for the second consecutive night, his eighth goal of the season, as he opened Adirondack's scoring with a slap shot from the point late in the second period. Brodeur has now collected eight points (3-5-8) in nine March games in addition to 13 points (4-9-13) in his last 13 games. The Quebec native's eight goals lead all Thunder defensemen on the season.

MAV-RIC ROLL: Thunder netminder Mavric Parks made his professional debut last evening as he entered the game in relief of Drew Fielding in the third period. Parks turned aside all four shots he faced in just over nine minutes of action. Parks joined the Thunder after a five-year career at the University of Prince Edward Island, where he played with Thunder teammate Dana Fraser.
