TONIGHT'S MATCHUP
Tonight is the second match-up between the Reign and the Salmon Kings at Citizens Business Bank Arena. The Reign won first match-up in the head-to-head series on December 3, in a 3-2 victory in front of 3,566 fans at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Reign netminder Jeff Zatkoff stopped 21 of 23 shots he faced against the Salmon Kings in the win, and holds a 1-0 record against the club. Captain Jon Francisco leads the Reign against the Salmon Kings with 3 points (1g, 2a). The teams are scheduled to meet an additional seven times over the course of the season, with five games scheduled at Savon-Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria, B.C., and two additional games at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
The Reign currently sit in second place in the Pacific Division Standings, three points behind the Fresno Falcons for first, with an overall record of 12-8-1-1 (26 points). The Reign are 6-4-1 in home games and 6-4-0-1 on the road.
