Victoria clips the Falcons

FRESNO, CALIFORNIA - Victoria goaltender Julien Ellis had 16 saves and four different goal scorers for the Victoria Salmon Kings combined to clip the Falcons in a 5-1 defeat on Saturday night at Selland Arena.

Shaun Landolt opened the scoring for Victoria at :28 seconds into the game. Wes Goldie added to the Salmon Kings lead at 12:33 of the first period. There was no scoring between the teams in the middle frame. At 3:17 of the third period, Sean O'Connor added Victoria's third goal of the night. Dylan Yeo put the Salmon Kings up by 4 at 11:17 of the third. The Falcons answered with their only goal of the night at 13:12 of the third period with a short-handed unassisted goal by Adam Hobson. Wes Goldie capped the Salmon King's scoring with his second goal of the night at 14:01 of the third period.

The Falcons play their third game of the weekend hosting the Stockton Thunder on Sunday December 7, game start at 5:05 p.m. The Falcons will welcome the Fresno/Madera Chapter of the Red Cross for the annual Red Cross at the Rink!
