Guelph Storm News Release
The Guelph Storm travel down to Windsor to take on the Spitfires in the first game of the 3 in 3 this weekend. The puck drops at 7:30pm.
The Storm come off a big win on Sunday winning 4-2 versus the Kitchener Rangers, which broke the Rangers undefeated start to the season. Tonight, marks game 1 of 3 within the 3 games in 3 days over this weekend as they go to take on the Spitfires in Windsor. With a current record of 3-3-1-0 the Storm sit one place above the Spitfires in 5th position in the conference standings. Finding recent heat is Cam Allen who was able to find the back of the net last game and is riding a 3-game point streak heading into tonight's game, he has been able to total 5 points over the 7 games so far in the season. He would be a defenceman to look out for as he continues to make an impact for the team. Tonight's game is game 8 of the season for the Storm and the first matchup of the season against the Spitfires.
The Spitfires coming into tonight's matchup are coming off a two-game losing streak which saw them lose to Owen Sound and Kitchener. With a record of 2-3-0-2 they currently sit 6th in conference standings with just one point separating them from Guelph. A win tonight could see the Spitfires pass Guelph in the standings. Will Cuylle in his 3rd season with the team has 5 points in seven games and could be a guy to keep an eye out for in tonight's game. Windsor will be trying to break their losing streak tonight as they host the Guelph Storm.

Players to Watch:
Guelph Storm - Cam Allen
After being selected 3rd overall in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection, Allen has found his groove and is finding the net more and more. Allen currently has a 3 game point streak which consists of 2 goals and an assist over the 3 games, which gives him a season total of 5 points over the 7 games played. This is an impressive start for the rookie in his first OHL season and the player to watch as he comes into tonight's game looking to extend his point streak to 4.
Windsor Spitfires - Will Cuylle
In his 3rd season in the league and with the Spitfires, Cuylle has been a top player contributing offensively for the team. Cuylle was drafted in the second round in 2020 by the New York Rangers and is seen as a top player for this Windsor team, with 3 goals and 5 points in 7 games this season he is expected to continue being a goal threat and produce for Windsor.
