Preview: Chicago Express (11-7-1-1, 24pts) vs. Kalamazoo (12-6-0-1, 25pts)

When: Puck drops at 7:00 p.m., Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Where: Sears Centre Arena, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway, Hoffman Estates, IL, 60192

Tonight's Matchup:

After playing four times in the first four weeks of the year, Chicago and Kalamazoo have not met in almost a month, since the Express traveled to Wings Stadium on November 12. Chicago has been glad for the respite, as they have surrendered 14 goals to the Wings in the past two games, both in Kalamazoo, being outscored by a total of 14-6. Chicago has fared better against the Wings at the Sears Centre, where the teams have split the two contests. The Express have added many new players since they last met the Wings, including G Allen York, LW Chad Painchaud, C Joe Gucci, and D Brett Motherwell. Chicago is 1-3-0-0 against Kalamazoo this season.

Express Notes:

G Allen York, who has played in 4 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets this season, is expected to start tonight. York has played one game for Chicago, a 2-1 win over Cincinnati in which he stopped 38 of 39 shots... The Express play their first home game since Nov. 19, and have played six-straight games on the road... F Pierre-Luc Faubert has a three game point streak including 1g-3a.
