ROSTER UPDATE:

Feb. 25: G J.P. Levasseur was reassigned to the Condors by Anaheim from Springfield (AHL), while G Timo Pielmeier was recalled... G Josh Johnson was activated from 21-IR and traded to Reading for future considerations... D Filip Bjork was released from his ATO... Feb. 24: F Matt Pope was recalled by Manitoba (AHL) and D Sasha Pokulok was signed to a PTO by San Antonio (AHL)... D Ken Morin was signed to an ATO and F Josh Jasek-Jepson was signed... Feb. 23: F Matt McCue placed on 7-IR.

THE MATCHUP:

The Condors and Salmon Kings meet for the eighth time this season, with three games remaining in the season series after tonight. The Condors and Salmon Kings split a weekend series in Bakersfield on Jan. 22-23, when the Condors earned a 4-3 overtime victory and fell 2-1. Bakersfield is 12-6-3 all-time against the Salmon Kings on home ice, and 22-17-7 overall. The series will continue tomorrow at Rabobank Arena, and includes a two-game series at home in late March.

CONDORS NOTES:

D Evan Stoflet recorded his first three-point game of the season on Sunday, registering three assists... The Condors lost for the first time when leading after one period on Sunday (10-1-0)... G J.P Levasseur returns to Condorstown after spending much of Training Camp in Bakersfield. Levasseur stopped 13 of 14 shots on Oct. 10 in a 5-3 win over Stockton in exhibition play... D Luis Tremblay also returns to Bakersfield, through a trade with Toledo, after spending the beginning of this season split between the Stockton Thunder and the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs of the CHL. Tremblay recorded 24 points (2g-22a) and 122 penalty minutes in 68 games with Bakersfield in 2004-05. He is not expected to play tonight... Newly signed F Josh Jacek-Jepson played with C Adam Naglich with the Victoria Salsa of the BCHL.

PROMOTIONAL NOTES:

NFL QB and Bakersfield native David Carr will be in attendance tonight, courtesy of Bright House Networks, KERI 1410 AM and the Junior Condors. Carr will sign autographs, pose in the Condors Photo Booth and after the game will speak about his faith and how it helped him reach the highest level of pro sports.
