Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the second straight game and for the final time in the regular season, the Kalamazoo Wings will host the Gwinnett Gladiators. On the season, the K-Wings are 3-0-1-0 versus the Gladiators and three of the four encounters have been decided by a single goal, including Kalamazoo 4-3 overtime victory on Wednesday.
Earning some breathing room in the North Division, the K-Wings now hold a three point lead over the Toledo Walleye for second place. With 63 points, Kalamazoo sits in sixth place in the American Conference, one point behind Charlotte for fifth and two points behind Florida for fourth.
Looking to snap a three-game losing streak, the Gladiators enter Wings Stadium in fourth place in the South Division. With 56 points, Gwinnett is currently in ninth place in the American Conference, two points behind Wheeling Nailers for the final playoff spot in the ECHL.
