DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers (1-1) will host the Green Bay Blizzard (1-2) in their home opener this Saturday, April 2nd. Kickoff is set for 7:05 P.M. at Wells Fargo Arena. It will be the first of three matchups between the teams this season.

Green Bay is coming to Des Moines following a 29-27 defeat to the Bismarck Bucks (2-1).

The Barnstormers are coming in following a win against the Sioux Falls Storm (2-1). The Barnstormers scored 38 points in the first half and left Sioux Falls with a 45-31 win. Kentrez Bell, wide receiver, scored 3 receiving touchdowns in the win.

The Barnstormers are looking to defeat the Blizzard and head into their bye week with a winning record.
