TONIGHT:
The Ontario Reign (36-18-4-5) play their final match of their season-high seven-game homestand against the Stockton Thunder (19-44-1-0). Ontario has a 6-0-0-0 record against Stockton this season, and has outscored the Thunder by a 30-10 margin. Ontario is 41-27-8 all-time against Stockton since the two clubs began competition against each other in 2008-09.
KITSYN CONTINUES GOAL-SCORING TREND:
Forward Maxim Kitsyn's wrap-around goal on Saturday extended his goal-scoring streak to four games (5g). The former LA Kings draft pick has been on a tear since returning from the Manchester Monarchs earlier in the month.
CHRISTIE CLIMBING ECHL COACHING WINS LADDER:
Jason Christie's next victory behind the bench will tie him with Jeff Pyle (Mobile, 1998-02; Gwinnett, 2003-11; Evansville, 2013-14) for third all-time in ECHL coaching wins with 477, and will put him only three wins back from tying John Brophy (Hampton Roads, 1989-2000 and Wheeling, 2001-03) for second all-time with 480.
OLKINUORA THREE WINS AWAY FROM HISTORY:
With 34 career wins in a Reign uniform, Jussi Olkinuora's next three victories will give him sole possession of first place of the club's career wins record, currently held by Chris Carrozzi, who suited up with the Reign from 2011-13.
