The Ice Flyers are looking to continue their winning ways on this road trip as they take on the Huntsville Havoc. This will be the 4th matchup against the Havoc this season for the Flyers and Pensacola holds the edge in the series with 2 wins including one in the Rocket City. Huntsville is 9-7-1 at home and the Ice Flyers' road record now stands at 8-8-2. The Ice Flyers now have a 3 point lead over the Mississippi Surge for 4th place while trailing the 3rd place Columbus Cottonmouths by 7 points.

Team Scope:

PENSACOLA - The IceFlyers are on a two game win streak including a 4-3 win over the Louisiana IceGators on Tuesday and last night's 8-1 win over Fayetteville. Corey Milan now has two wins in 2 games with the Ice Flyers. Milan's overall record now stands at 6-6-2 with a 3.68 goals against average and a .865 save percentage. Jeff Rose has a combined record of 4-7-1, 4.03 GAA, and a 0.857 SV%. Jordan Chong leads the team in scoring with 36 points. Chris Wilson's 4 goals last night give him the team lead with 16 while Chong leads in assists with 22.

The Ice Flyers' power play is 3rd best in the league at 19.05% with 32 power play goals. The Ice Flyers have only given up one shorthanded goal all season. Pensacola's penalty kill is still 4th at 81.95% with 24 power play goals against while managing to score 5 shorthanded goals.

The Ice Flyers will take on the Havoc again tomorrow night before ending their weekend and returning home.

HUNTSVILLE- The Havoc come into tonight's game rested having not played since their 3-2 win over Augusta last Saturday. Huntsville has Kevin Beech and Matt Hache in net. Beech has a combined record of 8-5-1, a 3.62 GAA, and a 0.874 SV%. Hache has a total record of 4-7-0, a 4.16 GAA, and a 0.870 SV%. Huntsville's leading scorers are Ryan Kretzer and Glenn Detulleo with 39 points each. Kretzer holds the team lead in goals with 16. Detulleo leads the team in assists with 30.

Huntsville's power play is 7th in the SPHL at 16.07% with 27 goals but 6 shorthanded goals against. Their penalty kill is 3rd in the league at 83.78% with 30 power play goals against and they have only managed 2 shorthanded goals.

The Havoc will again play host to the Ice Flyers Saturday and that will conclude their weekend.
