RiverKings Fans Enjoy Fellowship, Food and Fun at Fillin Station Grille Pre-Game Warm-Up

SOUTHAVEN-RiverKings fans, mascot Sheldon, players on the Injured/Reserve roster and team staff thronged to Fillin Station Grille next to the Landers Center home arena for the inaugural RiverKings Pre-Game Warm-Up event on Tuesday, Jan. 31 prior to the RiverKings 7:05 p.m. game against the Mississippi Surge.

RiverKings fans got a doubly good deal, with access not only to players like Matt Russo and Kevin Fukala and mascot Sheldon the turtle, but also up to half off food and drinks and special prizes.

The RiverKings will host another Pre-Game Warm-Up event tonight at the Fillin Station from 4-6 p.m.

Season ticket holders will receive a 50 percent discount on all food and non-alcoholic beverages, while fans with tickets to the game will receive 20 percent off. Season ticket holders who bring their receipt from the Pre-Game Warm-Up will receive 20 percent off at the RiverKings' merchandise store; non-season ticket holders will receive 10 percent off.

All fans who bring their Fillin Station receipt will receive a raffle ticket for two special giveaways: a "Chalk Talk" with Head Coach Derek Landmesser immediately after the game, and a ride on the zamboni during intermission.

This Friday is Belhaven University Faith and Family Night, featuring Christian and family-friendly music played throughout the game and a performance by the nationally recognized Zooperstars! mascot touring troupe. RiverKings forward Kevin Fukala and Belhaven University Director of Admissions & Student Services and ordained pastor Don Jones will open the game with prayer.
