The Erie SeaWolves return to UPMC Park for game four of the five game series with the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates)...Friday, the SeaWolves split the doubleheader with Altoona, taking the first game 8-7 in 11 innings and dropping the second game 5-1 in seven innings...Sergio Alcantara logged a four hit game for Erie in the win in game one...Jake Rogers took the game winning walk-off walk for Erie to give him his third walk-off of the season...The last time a SeaWolves player was responsible for three walk-offs was back in 2004 with Kurt Airoso...Will Maddox, A.J. Simcox and Josh Thole all homered in Erie's doubleheader...It was the first Erie HR for former big leaguer Josh Thole...The SeaWolves are now 6.5 games out of a playoff spot and are 10.5 games behind first place Akron...With a loss tonight, the SeaWolves will have lost two series in a row for the first time since May 31 when they lost consecutive series to Trenton and Binghamton...The SeaWolves send Kyle Dowdy to the mound tonight to make his first start for Erie since being sent down from Toledo...In his last appearance with the Mud Hens, Dowdy received the loss after allowing four runs on nine hits through three innings of work...It will be his fourth appearance against Altoona....Austin Coley will make his second start after being sent down from AAA-Indianapolis and his 1st vs. Erie.
