AKRON OUTLASTS BINGHAMTON IN ELEVEN INNINGS: The RubberDucks scored all eight of their runs after the sixth inning, edging the Rumble Ponies 8-7 on Friday night at Canal Park. Binghamton scored first for the second straight night and took a 4-0 lead, but Akron stormed back to score eight of the game's final 11 runs.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Ricky Knapp makes his second Eastern League start of the season after a trio of rehab starts kicked off his 2018 campaign (shoulder). Knapp lasted three innings, gave up six hits and four earned runs on July 7 against Erie. Saturday marks the first time in Knapp's career facing Akron.

QUACKING THE WHIP: Akron has defeated Binghamton in seven of their eight meetings this season including a three game sweep at NYSEG Stadium on April 9 - 11.

TEBOW'S HITTING STREAK: Tim Tebow extended his hitting streak to a season-best nine games on Friday with a trio of hits. His sixth home run of the season was his first away from NYSEG Stadium.

TIM BY THE NUMBERS: Since June 16, Tim Tebow is hitting .373 (28-for-75), the second-best batting average in the Eastern League over that time (Devyn Bolasky - .393). He's hit safely in 19 of the last 22 games. Friday's effort was his third three-hit game of the season.

PONY 'PEN: The Binghamton bullpen tied a season-high, allowing seven runs in Friday's loss. Rumble Ponies relievers coughed up seven runs in a June 8 loss to Trenton.

EXTRA! EXTRA!: Friday's 11-inning affair was Binghamton's seventh extra-inning game of the season and second of July. The Ponies are 4-3 in extra-inning games with the last four extra-inning contests decided in 11 innings.

FREE BASEBALL: Three of the seven Eastern League games on Friday went to extra innings. Richmond topped Trenton in 10 innings and Erie edged Altoona in 11.

SHOW ME SOME GLOVE: After four straight errorless games, Binghamton has committed a blunder in three consecutive contests.

ONE WIN: Binghamton's lone win against Akron came back on May 1 at Canal Park, 7-6.

FOR THE LONGEST TIME: Friday's game lasted three hours and forty minutes, the longest game of Binghamton's season.

UP NEXT: Binghamton and Akron conclude their four-game set on Sunday afternoon. RHP Harol Gonzalez makes his Rumble Ponies debut against RHP Triston McKenzie with first pitch at 2:05 PM from Canal Park.
